Climate & Energy Advisory Committee

The Climate & Energy Advisory Committee has been formed with the initial goals and objectives:

• Develop an initial Climate Action Plan that proposes goals and strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing energy efficiency, and preparing for extreme weather.
• Submit the initial plan and subsequent updates and specific project proposals to the City Manager and City Council for consideration.
• Implement the Climate Action Plan through projects and initiatives such as grant seeking, public outreach, and collaboration with other stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on the progress of the Climate Action Plan.
