St. Albans City Fire Department

Our mission is to protect the residents and visitors of the City of Saint Albans with coordinated efforts in Code Enforcement, Public Education, Hazardous Materials and Incident Mitigation, thereby reducing the loss of life and property due to fire and other emergencies while also contributing to the quality of life in the City of Saint Albans.

As first responders to fires and public safety emergencies, the Saint Albans City Fire Department protects the lives and property of St. Albans residents and visitors. The Department also advances public safety through its building code enforcement and education programs. The timely delivery of these services enables the Saint Albans City Fire Department to make significant contributions to the safety of St. Albans.  Please feel free to call if you have any questions or concerns. BURN PERMITS

The City of St. Albans Fire Dept. will issue burn permits Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. To secure a burn permit, please complete the application at https://www.stalbanspd.com/burn-permits/ during weekday business hours.  Please note that burning piles of leaves will not be permitted.  Leaves should be composted.  Composting options include Hudak Farm and Northwest Solid Waste District.
