Notice of Vacancies - St. Albans City Representatives to Northwest Regional Planning Commission

The City of St. Albans is seeking community members to act as representatives to the Northwest Regional Planning Commission (NRPC). NRPC is a staffed organization that serves an important role in our region and for the City. Its mission is to (1) conduct regional planning programs and provide assessments of local plans; (2) assist local municipalities through education, technical assistance, grants and funding and aid municipalities in their planning efforts; (3) serve as a center of information and as a resource to support the region and its municipalities; and (4) provide a forum for the discussion of issues which are regional in nature and/or unique to our area of the state, and to serve as a mediator to resolve conflicts as appropriate.

NRPC is governed by a board of commissioners. Two of those commissioners are appointed by the St. Albans City Council.
