Message from Public Works RE: Water Main Break

RE: WATER MAIN BREAK

The Public Works Department has been working all day to fix an unexpected water main break at the intersection of North Main Street and Farrar Street. Residents of North Main Street from Lakeview Terrace to Lower Newton Street and residents on Lower Newton Street from North Main Street to Federal Street and residents of outlying streets around this area, likely have no water or low water pressure. As of 3:30 pm, Public Works is still working to repair this break and residents may be without water or experience low water pressure for the next 6 - 8 hours. Once the repair is complete and water is turned back on, residents may experience some temporary discoloration to their water.
