NOTICE: Second Reading of City Ordinance Revision

The St. Albans City Council will hold a public hearing and second reading of revisions to the City Ordinance governing Operation of Vehicles and Timed Parking Zones, Title 17, Chapter 5, Sub-Chapters 2 and 6. After the hearing is closed, the Council may vote on adoption of the ordinance.

Effects of the Proposed Ordinance Revisions:

These revisions would allow Commercial Vehicle Loading Areas, as designated under Section 5309 of the City Ordinances, to exist along the Timed Parking Area on Main Street (Section 5168). These revisions would also place a 30-minute parking limit on the two parking spaces immediately in front of 44-46 Federal Street. These revisions would also remove a reference to 30-minute parking spaces in front of City Hall that no longer exist.
