City Seeks Minute Taker for Belonging, Equity & Inclusion Cmte.

The City of St. Albans is seeking a reliable person to take the minutes of meetings of the BEI Committee.

The St. Albans City Council has appointed the Belonging, Equity and Inclusion (BEI) Committee to help foster a sense of belonging among our citizens.  As one of the City’s volunteer boards, the BEI Cmte. will seek to understand the experience of historically marginalized groups and the manner in which our implicit bias can impact the delivery of City services, programs and events.

The meeting minutes are a summary of the discussions at each meeting and serve as a record of decisions made and actions taken.  This is a great opportunity to earn some money for work during the evening and also get a first-hand look at City government and equity efforts!

This is a part-time position with compensation set at $20/hour, estimated at 3 to 6 hours per month.  Applicants must review the full Minute Taker job posting.  Applications accepted until position is filled.
