The City of Saint Albans, VT, has hired Michelle Boudreau as its new Zoning Administrator.  The Zoning Administrator position is responsible for administering and enforcing the City's Land Development Regulations and assisting with the City’s planning & development program.   This position is the principal staff person for the Development Review Board and helps ensure an efficient permit process by assisting the public, preparing staff reports, and preparing Board decisions.

“I’m pleased to be on board,” says Boudreau, “and excited to be a part of the changes happening here in St. Albans.”

Boudreau, a St. Albans resident, had served with previous City Zoning Administrators in City Hall as the Administrator Coordinator for Planning, Zoning and Public Works.  Chip Sawyer, City Director of Planning & Development is happy to see Boudreau step into the new role.

“Michelle has supported planning and zoning functions for the City for several years and has even acted as our Zoning Administrator multiple times,” says Sawyer.  ”Now she officially gets to call the position her own.”
