Message from Public Works RE: Discolored Water

Due to an unexpected issue at the Fairfax Water Treatment Plant which stirred up sediments in the lines, some users on the City water system may experience discolored water from their taps. The water is safe to drink. This issue has been rectified and discolored water will clear up throughout the day. We apologize for any inconvenience.
