Stormwater System Testing
The City has hired consultants to do some annual testing of our stormwater lines. Right now, we are focusing on the area of Lincoln Ave. between Lo. Welden and Congress and including a little bit of Bishop St. You'll see the crews out in this area, especially on Tuesday the 12th. And some residents will be asked if we can drop some colored tabs in a toilet in your house, which allow us to go out and check for any connections to the storm system.
For the good of our brooks and St. Albans Bay, it is imperative that our storm and sewer systems stay separated, and this is a key part of that process.
