Adoption of COVID-19 Emergency Ordinance

On April 13, 2020, the St. Albans City Council adopted an emergency ordinance for the enforcement of public health measures declared by federal, state and local authorities during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The purpose of the ordinance is to provide law enforcement with the ability to fine intentional violations after education and warnings are first attempted.  The emergency ordinance is available at  The ordinance takes effect at 6:30 PM on April 15, 2020.
