Proposed Revision to City Ordinances

The St. Albans City Council will hold a public hearing and second reading of a revision to the City Ordinance governing Operation of Vehicles and Timed Parking Zones, Title 17, Section 5351. After the hearing is closed, the Council may vote on adoption of the revision.

Effects of the Proposed Ordinance Revision:

This revision will designate two on-street parking spaces on the west side of North Main Street, near 36-38 North Main Street and just north of the mid-block crosswalk, as 30 minute parking only, 9am-6pm Monday-Saturday. The purpose of this revision is to increase customer turn-over for those two spaces for the benefit of proximate businesses.
