Employment Opportunity - Assistant City Accountant

The City of St. Albans seeks a team player to serve as Assistant City Accountant.  This position reports to the Director of Administration and performs professional accounting work in support of the City’s business functions.

St. Albans is a thriving City and has benefitted from a recent growth period in which the City has invested approximately $20 million into its infrastructure and leveraged $50 million in grand list growth.  The City has a TIF district, and operating budgets totaling $15 million.

Salary will be based on qualifications.  The City benefit package includes defined benefit retirement; comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, and a family friendly workplace.
