Traffic During the Vermont Maple Festival

It's that time again! During the Vermont Maple Festival, City street closures will be the same as in previous years.

This Thursday the 23rd, expect a partial closure of North Main Street between Bank Street and Lake Street.

Friday the 24th through Sunday the 26th, North Main Street will be closed between Bank Street and Lake Street. And the top of Kingman Street will be closed.

Street closures for Sunday's parade will begin between 11 AM and Noon on the 26th. The closures will affect any streets entering the parade route, which is Lemnah Drive, Lower Welden Street, Allen Street, Stebbins Street, North Main Street, and Lower Newton Street. These closures will also affect Federal Street, Market Street, Catherine Street and the upper block of Lake Street.

Parking will be available as normal in the City parking garage at 26 Hampton Lane. PLEASE BE PATIENT driving through our neighborhoods, as this festival brings many visitors to on-street parking throughout the City.

Special thanks to City Public Works, the St. Albans Police Department, and the St. Albans City Fire Department for ensuring that we can manage the impacts of the festival during this fun annual event!
