Traffic Update: Lake Street Work

On Monday 8/7 the Federal St. Project will move into Lake St. for utilities, curbs and sidewalk work. Here are the traffic impacts you will likely experience during the week:

1. Federal Street traffic will not be able to go east on Lake or south to Catherine.
2. Lake Street traffic will not be able to turn right onto Federal.
3. We will request that Catherine Street not be used for through-traffic.
4. Sidewalks will not be affected, but some crosswalks will be closed.

Also during the week of August 7, VTrans will continue milling old pavement on Lake St. west of the railroad tracks.  There will be flaggers to direct traffic around the work.
