Notice of Vacancies - Historic Preservation Commission
The St. Albans City Council is seeking community members interested in sitting on the Historic Preservation Commission (HPC).
The HPC plays a critical role in preserving our City’s knowledge of its historic resources.
The HPC’s objectives include:
- updating and maintaining the City’s surveys and inventories of historic properties,
- preparing reports and providing advice whenever a property is nominated to the National Register of Historic Places,
- guiding the preparation and submission of grant applications to the VT Div. for Historic Preservation, and
- assisting other City officials in matters related to historic preservation.
The HPC meets on quarterly on Tuesdays at 6 PM as needed.
This appointment is made by the City Council.
