Lemnah Drive Stormwater Gravel Wetland
Construction is nearly complete on a "gravel wetland" along Lemnah Drive to treat stormwater in the area.
The City’s stormwater permit with the State requires us to construct new treatment facilities that will help us meet our community-wide water quality requirements. Many projects have been planned, and the gravel wetland proposed for Lemnah Drive is the first one that will be completed. This project will account for more than 3% of the City’s flow reduction goals and more than 10% of the phosphorous reduction goal.
The project was substantially completed in 2025, and the City's contractors will install finishing touches, such as plantings and a fence, in the spring of 2026.
