City Parking Facilities

There are free on-street parking spaces located throughout Downtown St. Albans, many of which are controlled by time limits, according to signage.

The City also manages three public parking locations:

• The City Parking Garage at 26 Hampton Lane.
• The Lake Street Parking Lot between 26 and 36 Lake Street.
• The City Hall Parking Lot at 28 Hudson Street (behind City Hall, 100 North Main Street).

As of July 1, 2024, the fees for parking in these facilities are as follows:

Parking Garage

• Hourly fee at kiosk: $1.00 per hour, $6.00 per day, first two hours are free.
• Annual Permit:  $525.00
• 6-Month Permit:  $267.75
• Monthly Permit:  $47.25

Lake Street Parking Lot

• Hourly use by paid parking meter.
• Annual Permit:  $315.00
• Monthly Permit:  $26.25

City Hall Parking Lot

• Permit parking only.
• Annual Permit:  $315.00
• Monthly Permit:  $26.25
